Crunchy and Sweet Crispy ‘Kale’ Seaweed, perfect accompaniment to your Chinese Fakeaway, Perfect alongside my Sweet & Sticky Chilli Beef.
Serves 2-4 - Approx. 37 KCal per Portion
Ingredients (Serves 2-4 - Approx. 37 KCal per Portion)
200g Shredded Kale
½ Tsp Sea Salt
1 Tsp Caster Sugar
1 Tsp Dark Brown Sugar (Or Light Brown Sugar)
¼ Tsp Chinese 5 Spice
Drizzle Olive Oil (or Sunflower Oil)
Method
Preheat Oven to 220°C
In a small bowl, mix together Salt, Caster Sugar, Brown Sugar & 5-Spice.
In a large bowl, put the Kale and sprinkle with the Spice Mixture
Drizzle in a little Olive Oil and toss to coat (Be careful not to add too much, this will cause the kale to go soggy)
Arrange the Kale in a single layer oven proof tray and bake for 4-5 minutes, keeping an eye on it as it can burn easily, remove when a Deep Green Colour and Crispy texture.
